If you decided to remove your boot manager and use standart boot loader which just load OS from the primary partition you should rewrite Master Boot Record (MBR) on your master hard drive. To do this having only Windows XP and it’s Install CD just do folowing steps:
- Boot from Windows XP Instalation CD
- Select “Repair current instalation with recovery console” (or smth like this :))
- In repair console type “fixmbr” and answer ‘Y‘.
- Type ‘exit’ to reboot computer.
Congratulations! Now you have the fastest and simpliest boot manager in the world!
